Flat roads are fine. But it gets more interesting when the road curves and slowly disappears into the mountains. I like long climbs, quiet roads, and routes that look much calmer on the map.
Good roads.
Not every good ride needs a famous pass. Sometimes, low traffic, nice curves, and a road that makes you wonder what’s behind the next bend are enough. It’s rarely flatter there, by the way.

A few routes, passes, and roads that have stuck with me. Some because of the view, others because of the vertical meters. Usually because of both.

Probably not. A few roads are still waiting — and experience shows they rarely go straight ahead.
